Wray Ranch is a working commercial beef cattle ranch. The cattle operations company is Wray Cattle Co Inc. The land company is Wray Ranch Co. LLC. All owned by Rex, Jody, Brady, Molly, Coby, and Baylor Buck. In addition to the cow-calf enterprise, we also have irrigated grass, alfalfa hay, embryo show calves, rentals, hunting, and lodging. Wray Ranch is 9 miles east of Wray Colorado. The headquarters are at the Colorado Nebraska state line north of U.S. Highway 34. Half of the acres are in east Yuma County Colorado; and the contiguous other half lies in Dundy County Nebraska. The north fork of the Republican River runs through Wray Ranch from Colorado flowing into Nebraska and ultimately into Kansas. Our irrigation water rights are on the Pioneer Ditch in Nebraska. We have sandhill grass pastures , hay meadows, irrigated grass, alfalfa, dramatic sandstone canyons, springs, and hard clay, short grass prairie.
